ABOUT OUR ARTISTS
Fine artists Frank G. Marcello and Irene Veronica Marcello were husband and wife for almost 70 years. They were professional artists who worked in oils, creating beautiful landscapes, still life paintings, abstracts, and various other series. They painted together since 1950 when they met at the prestigious Barnes Foundation School of Art.
Each of the Marcellos had unique and immediately recognizable style. Their paintings are sometimes large-scale, and they often paint on panels or canvases, but anything was adaptable to be improved by our fine artists.
The Marcellos’ work is collected by art aficionados all over the world, and their paintings hang in the homes and offices of celebrities, business executives, and politicians. MarcelloGalleries.com is an online art gallery, selling giclee prints of original oil paintings by Frank G. and Irene Veronica Marcello.
Irene's work is characterized by its vibrant colors, bold brushstrokes, and dramatic scenes. Whether it's landscapes or emotional color, Irene's paintings are sure to add a touch of elegance to any home or office.
Frank, having been a commercial artist in downtown Pittsburgh for many years, presents a more serious tone. His paintings and drawings have been used in commercial art for companies such as Alcoa, Westinghouse, and the Holy Childhood of Pittsburgh.
